Through extensive testing we found that the fan action of the clutch and the placement of these vents create a flow of cold air into the side panel and out the footwell area. We found by doing this the&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">wind speed<\/span>&nbsp;out of the footwell area&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">increased<\/span>&nbsp;a full&nbsp;<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">13 miles per hour<\/span>&nbsp;at full shift out. This results in much cooler clutch and belt temperatures for increased belt life and less chance for performance loss due to heat saturation.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>right side vent kit<\/strong>&nbsp;helps reduce underhood heat given off by the exhaust system for a more consistent running engine.<\/p>\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>rear cowling outlet vent<\/strong>&nbsp;provides additional hot air escape. We find it most beneficial for customers riding in deep snow conditions.<\/p>\n<p>These kits feature SLP&#8217;s&nbsp;<b>Max Flow&trade;<\/b>&nbsp;air vent technology.&nbsp;This&nbsp;technology utilizes injection molding&nbsp;encapsulate our highly durable stainless steel mesh&nbsp;to provide the maximum air flow through the chassis while keeping snow out.&nbsp;This injection molding process allows us to produce vents that more readily shed the snow and&nbsp;are more durable. These vents are unmatched in quality and appearance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rear Cowling Outlet Vents Will&nbsp;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Not<\/span>&nbsp;fit with Polaris&nbsp;kneepads<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Important Note: When printing instructions make sure printer settings are not set to shrink to fit.
